Never ate here before...subs were ok...steak and a chicken teriyaki...fries for $5 wasnt happy at all...all broken and little and hard..wasnt even "hot"....i expected more for the price..on a plus...the lemonade was really good!!
I don't hate this place at all I actually love this place but I had came in today and the girl with the star on her ear had a very bad attitude and was very unprofessional she sounded very irritated like she didn't even want to be there I understand that they were backed up and short-staffed but I'm a hairstylist I go through that every single day with person on top of person on top of person with their picky attitudes and guess what I deal with it there's no need to treat customers like s*** because you're unhappy with your job her entire demeanor was just all attitude and I've never even wrote a review about anything but God cheer up some it's not that bad I assure you there's more shity things in life but maybe she was just having a bad day I guess I have quite a few of those myself
Bottom line I know I can't be the first person to point this lady out. I work customer service and if I ever treated a customer like that, I'd be fired. We will Never be back to this store and will let other know of our experience. No excuse.
At one point, as we were waiting the manager locked eyes with with my sister in law and as she turned around she rolled her eyes and nodded her head. Obviously too! Your store doesn't close till 10pm and we went in there tonight around 8:30pm. We watched another customer ordered after us, same thing.
When Theo is working this Penn Station is great. Today he wasn't there. The tables were dirty, the root beer was out, the sweet tea not sweet at all. I mix my tea half sweet half unsweetened. So I thought it was my fault but when I refilled with the tea that said sweet it still had no sweetness at all.
Cleanliness and friendliness are definitely not on the menu at this location. 3 people working, none user friendly. One guy seemed new and had no clue how to take orders, make food or anything about food handling procedures. He was taking his hat off, wiping the sweat off his head, then wiped his nose and preceded to pick up the sub buns with his bare hands. Meanwhile the lady making fries dumped old fries back in the tray of fries, fried new ones and threw those on top of the old ones. I cancelled my order and left!
Absolutely horrible customer service. There was what seemed to be a training manager in there tonight, when we first walked in the door we could see her rolling her eyes all the way from the back. I've only ever been to Penn Station once so I was looking over the menu when she barked at me. "I need a name." I wasn't ready. My sister in law stepped in and started ordering, she was so rude to her that she didn't even everything she wanted because she didn't want to talk to her anymore. When I order she rushed me the whole time, didn't so much ask, more told me "that's it" before I was done ordering. I said No I also need a large fries. Then again she barks at me, before I'm even done talking "She'll take your cash down there". The cashier was very nice, she seemed to be new and she was rude with her too! That doesn't make a good employee or learning environment.
