My mind was blown with the crazy low prices, they have a huge selection of fresh products to choose from! The option to create your own pizza or eat what they've created. The rows of fresh seafood was impressive and I can't forget the meat department (I have to try the stuff pork chops on my next visit).
Although some things are a little pricey there are many things that are way below ticket value when they are on sale including $3.50 lobster tails when we went. It is also very bright in there and everyone's very nice.
Selection of items also isn't that impressive.
There's a healthy surprise around every corner. I was impressed that once you're at the checkout the person bagging the groceries inspect the produce to make sure everything is perfect. I can't wait to go back!
Their peanut butter they ground there is delicious, i like to go for the samples & the service is friendly & just to find new & different items you wouldn't find @ a regular grocery store, items like Jack Fruit & lots of vegan options.
I was impressed by the low prices at first. My boyfriend and I are trying to find all fresh produce and meat, no GMOs, and that quality is hard to sell at a low price. But I think something questionable is behind their low prices. I bought a bag of green beans on Monday, it's Wednesday and the entire bag is covered in white mold and they are all rotten. Beans stay good a long time, so I can't help but wonder how old those beans were?! I donno, I'm sketched out now and don't know if we'll return.
There's also a freezer section that doesn't have any lights in the doors? It's almost hard to see in.
While I was excited to visit this new store, I quickly came to the realization that not everything here is good for you. They sell Pepsi, Coke, Diet coke, sprite. In a health foods store??
Not only that but as I was walking around the dairy section there were 2 workers that were filling the shelf and walking around with a hand held scanner. Not one of them said hello or even asked me if they could help me find anything. Terrible customer service. Prices are about the same compared to EarthFare, maybe a tad cheaper but I'd rather have a good experience shopping and pay a tad more than shop at fresh thyme where they don't even acknowledge you.
