If you love lots of cheese on toasted bread, this is your kind of place. The menu varieties are endless . . .hot buffalo, chicken and waffles, Cuban war pig, mom's meatloaf, Lake Erie monster, to name a few grilled choices. If you take kettle chips over fries, get a dipping sauce for them or they are a bit boring. Prices run from $8.25 for some half sandwiches to $15.50 for the most expensive whole sandwich choice. Service was great but the kitchen was slow. Of course it was only the second day after opening. Glad to see this restaurant in Canton. The long drive to eat here has been solved!
$15 for a sandwhich that is 90% bread, no side, and luke warm meat... how did this concept ever make it to brick and mortar. Thankfully I came during "happy hour" and my side of onion rings was only an additional $5... on top of it all... left hungry...
My husband and I are huge fans of Melt in general, but this trip was a special one. The staff was so friendly and personable, the food was amazing (and times well) and the mural on the wall is a great representation of Canton! We cannot recommend this place enough!
My family and came in for lunch today with a party of 7 including a toddler a handicap Mom with her service dog for a 50th surprise and the service we received was exceptional!!!! Everyone was great with my mom and her dog on top of so many servers and managers coming to see if we were enjoying ourselves! On our way out everyone wished my brother a happy birthday!! Highly recommend this location!!
Amazing but I'm a certified Melt addict. I used to drive 70 miles for Melt now it's only a 30 Mile drive. Sandwiches are amazing, I can say I've never eaten the same thing twice. The beer selection is just plain crazy (had to stay in a hotel across from Independence Melt due to my oversampling) I just have nothing bad to say about this place other than the wait sometimes to be seated due to the amount of business.
